Today I've been to Pripyat, a model Soviet city built in 1970 to house workers of a power plant. It's got a Palace of Culture, a fairground with a ferris wheel, a swimming pool and a cinema. Problem is, all the people seem to have disappeared. Yes, all 40,000 of them! Where can they be? Hmmm... From the weeds growing everywhere and the general state of repairs, it seems like they left a while back. What happened? Let's investigate. Start with where they work, the huge power plant a mile away. The huge nuclear powerplant. What's it called Ch... Cher... Chernobyl. Now is it just me or does that name sound familiar? Anyway, gotta go, the geiger counter's going nuts...
Keep travelling!
